Xaraxura Press

Xaraxura Press (2023 - ) is an independent publishing space founded in 2023 by researchers, artists, and designers. Open to the public since August 2023, Xaraxura has since grown into a collective of five members, fostering a dynamic environment for experimental printmaking, radical publishing, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Dedicated to amplifying underrepresented artists and printed matter, the space operates as both a risograph studio and a platform for small-run publications, workshops, and public programming. With a strong focus on collective knowledge-sharing, Xaraxura Press reimagines publishing as a tool for critical discourse, creative resistance, and shared authorship. Xaraxura Press’s team consists of three co-founders who currently share equally all responsibilities necessary for the smooth operation of the social enterprise. The current members of Xaraxura are: Mariam Kakhniashvili, Ana Mikadze, Lia Gulbani, Mariam Songulashvili, and Giorgi Kikoria.
