The organisation 11_11 works in the intersection of contemporary art and urban revitalisation. It runs a network of studios in empty spaces which the local governments did not use for decades. These spaces include a gallery and community space called 1111, also involved in research projects in the field of art history. Furthermore, 11_11 is one of the key actors in Budapest’s revitalisation as a city of culture. 11_11 prepares strategic documents, carries out campaigns and long term projects in the Hungarian capital.
