Banda Larga APS
Banda Larga APS is a non-profit organization based in Turin dedicated to fostering independent culture and social inclusion through the power of community media. Since 2013, the association has been running Radio Banda Larga (RBL), an advertising-free, community-driven web radio that broadcasts a 24/7 schedule focused on contemporary sounds, cultural experimentation, and social issues. As the founding entity and administrative coordinator of the RBL Cosmos network, Banda Larga APS bridges independent media scenes across Turin, Berlin, and Barcelona. The organization acts as both a digital platform and a physical cultural hub, co-managing iconic spaces in Turin such as Imbarchino and Via Baltea 3, and organizing musical events including the Non Frequenze Festival. By merging grassroots broadcasting with local community engagement, Banda Larga APS provides a vital space for artistic freedom, focusing on empowering marginalized voices and fostering transnational cultural exchange.
