BiPoc Representation Working Group Meeting in Athens, April 2026 — © Sideris Yanoudis
Our thematic Working Groups are discussion spaces dedicated to collaborative experimentation, with the aim of informing the direction and evolution of the network.
They are open to our members, who can invite experts to assist with their reflection process.

The aim of this Working Group is to improve the representation of marginalised BIPoC communities within Reset!.
Recognising that the network still relies too heavily on white teams, Reset! acknowledges the need to improve the representation of BIPoC communities within the network in order to achieve its goal of fostering diversity and addressing structural racism and discrimination.
The WG's overarching goal is to establish a framework for collective action that will help to bridge racial representation gaps within the network.
Coordinator: Jaana Denisova-Laulajainen (TiCAS)

Building on the work carried out by Reset! from 2022 to 2024, which included formulating a proposal for changes in public policy on the same subject, the network intends to continue supporting and advocating for European webradios.
The objective of this WG is to serve as a platform for advocating on behalf of community radios, identifying ideas and areas for change, and providing policy recommendations.
Coordinator: Samantha Lippett (ICRN)

Following the work carried out by Reset! from 2022 to 2024, notably the fifth volume of the Atlas of Independent Culture and Media (Dismantling Digital Dominance in Culture: Exploring Alternatives to Tech Giants), the formulation of a proposal for changes in public policy (Reset! Atlas, Part 2: Policy Proposals), and the Open Letter on Digital Ethics, the network intends to continue its research and advocacy work on ethical digital transformation in independent culture and media.
This WG also aims to help the network evolve its digital practices by establishing the current situation and introducing positive changes to Reset!'s digital use.
Coordinator: Steven MacKay (Arroz Estúdios)

Reset! recognises that non-EU members face a different set of challenges compared to EU-based members, particularly with regard to mobility.
The objective of this WG is to identify the specific needs of Reset! members from non-EU countries and understand how Reset! can support them. This work will also form the basis for developing advocacy areas and strategic cross-border collaborations with and for these members.
Coordinator: Kalina Dukovska (Laboratorium)

This Working Group is connected to ongoing exchanges within the Reset! network, Trans Europe Halles, their members, and partners. It also links to the policy brief on artistic freedom, coordinated by Reset! and developed as part of Culture Action Europe’s Towards the Culture Compass: A Sector Blueprint. Through the Working Group, members continue shaping these discussions together by grounding them in their own practices, experiences, and challenges related to artistic freedom, and by contributing collectively to future advocacy and policy processes.
