Parea Radio is an independent, community-oriented online radio platform based in Athens.
Rooted in the idea of parea, a circle of friends gathered around sound, the station exists as a shared space for listening, exchange and documentation. It is built around presence rather than performance, continuity rather than volume. In a world saturated with content, Parea Radio is interested in discovering and sharing culture together. We treat radio not simply as output, but as practice: a way of holding space for research, emotion, experimentation and dialogue. Broadcasting curated weekly shows, we focus on contemporary listening practices through DJ sets, exploratory selections, conversations and formats that move between music and context.
