Células Durmientes
Células Durmientes is a collective devoted to inclusive, community-based cultural activism, combining expertise in communication, psychology, and music therapy with backgrounds in social intervention, international cooperation, the arts, and project management. Rooted in movements for equity, feminism, and tolerance, we work to promote interculturality and gender equality through social action, cultural management, and educational projects that empower young people and communities to transform their own realities. Through non-formal education, we've run workshops and European training courses — as both participants and trainers — alongside artists, educators, and youth leaders, drawing on music therapy, storytelling, theatre, and technology to build understanding of global issues and cultural identity. We champion creative freedom and wellbeing, guided by Rogers's principles of empathy, acceptance, and listening. Funded mainly through KA1 and KA2 projects, we're now opening our structure to new members internationally. Almost 8 years in, we remain few — but our dreams are enormous.
