Parallel Art Foundation

Parallel Art Foundation is a Budapest-based non-profit organisation, working in the contemporary performing and visual art scene since 2010. The aim of Foundation is to support, develop and internationally contextualise Hungarian contemporary art, and to facilitate the mobility of art and artists through international programing. The Foundation runs Cairo and Puccs, two project spaces for installation works and statements. With a special focus on konkret kunst, constructive and geometric art, in collaboration with art organisations and institutions, solo and group exhibitions are initiated and implemented both in Hungary and abroad. In addition, Parallel runs a long lasting film and video project that includes screenings, workshops and filmmaking focusing on movement-based works.
