Urbane Praxis e.V.

Urbane Praxis e.V. is an association that supports the interests of urban practitioners, it builds networks and connects civil society actors, administration and politics in order to shape vibrant and sustainable cities. The association represents urban practitioners and imparts knowledge in order to make cross-departmental urban issues visible. The non-profit association Urbane Praxis e.V. was founded in 2022 from the Urbane Practice initiative and the growing network. The network office supports and advises Berlin initiatives and projects that develop self-organized cultural communities and open spaces to achieve cultural and urban transformations for the common good. It enables a continuous exchange between initiatives, administration and politics – through intermediary communication, networking and visibility. It shares knowledge on the creation and maintenance of self-organized open spaces, organizes public discourse and networking events and develops information material and support for urban practitioners.
